Description
Importer Notes | Faical Coffee represents a network of smallholder producers across Jaén and San Ignacio in Northern Peru—a region defined by high elevations and ideal microclimates. Founded over 14 years ago, the organization has worked directly with local families to strengthen quality, improve traceability, and expand access to specialty coffee markets.
At the center of their work is Finca La Loma and surrounding plots, where varieties such as Bourbon, Pache and Caturra are cultivated under shade. Faical has implemented programs focused on sustainability and diversification, including reforestation initiatives and integrated tilapia farming, contributing to both environmental and economic resilience.
Today, Faical collaborates with more than 875 producers through a model built on transparency, quality control, and shared responsibility.
The coffee represents a clean, structured, and reliable cup profile. But more importantly, it reflects the collective dedication of the families who are shaping the future of specialty coffee in northern Peru.
